UV or Not To Be
Oop I reworked my entire model for Set VR! Nice. From Lynchburg to South Philly, a smart move. I think boxes that form a highway are generally easier to work with than god’s green grass and trees. But in order to make the place feel more populated I have to now model, UV, and Texture like 5 more buildings and a highway along with an expanded parking lot. So anyway, we popping off.

What is most shocking about all this change is that I actually did most of it, haha. The current state as of me typing this is that the whole model has textures and is in Unity, with this point on being tweaks and adjustments to the textures and filling in the scene with misc. cars and other assets from pre-downloaded packs from the asset store. So basically, in artists terms, this is the fun bit where you go over with the little details that make all the difference. I would say we call this “rendering” in the art world, but that word triggers me (thanks drexel) so instead let’s just call it dessert!
Gamers Plan for the Future
For next week, or at least the first half of it anyway, I will be adjusting textures, lighting, and item placement until the scene is finished! It will look like the perfect place to get mugged, hopefully. I have no clue what my tasks will be like after this, I have been working in blender for so long… maybe I’ll be drawing again! That would be cool and nice.
On a slightly more personal level, sort of, the Digital Janitors team has been hard at work! We have our first demo up on itch. io here
And ya girl has been grinding none stop making trailers! Here are a few to watch…
