During this past week, I’ve been continuing my work from the last couple weeks to ensure that the Speaker enemies’ Poly-Nav system is able to play a smooth walk cycle. However, I’ve mostly been focusing on the bottom Speaker, and have set it to walk in a rectangle around where it originally spawns in the world. I decided to make a small markup of where I planned to have the other Speakers move, not really getting too fancy with it.
I thought it would be interesting to have the speaker on the right side act as almost a bouncer for Gackle, moving back and forth and stopping for a few seconds between each walk cycle. As for the speaker on the left, I thought it would be interesting to have it walk by a few tables and maybe stop when it gets next to a table. This seems a little ambitious, so if I can’t get them to stop at a certain position that is not listed as the end position, I will just try to have the Speaker walk in that pattern.
Plans for Next Week
I plan to get as close to finishing this task as possible, since I’ve been working on it for a while. At this point there’s a lot more bug testing for it than anything else, so hopefully everything will work properly. I also will be moving on from Monochrome to working on SNAK3 for the foreseeable future. I’m excited to see how that project goes.

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared a piece of horror based media, unless you count FNaF: Security Breach, but that’s a discussion for another day. This week, I wanted to share a horror ARG that came from Twitter known as The Sun Vanished. The title explains the main plot of the series, and our main character seems to be living in an alternate reality where the sun has simply vanished for no apparent reason one morning. It was a very interesting series, with Twitter polls allowing for the audience to interact with the story, and other accounts being used to tell perspectives of different characters. This video provides a comprehensive look at the series so far.
