Dev Log #16 – Jack Heyen


This Week:

This week has felt as more of a breakthrough with my design works, as I’ve begun to get more into the processes of helping better shape the structure of ongoing projects. Lately I have been involved with determining the art assets for the ongoing Rosette project and I’ve become invested in the direction its headed alongside hoping to take more of an interest in other parts of it, such as bug fixing or game design.

I’m hopeful to keep going with helping better shape Rosette in a few different means, otherwise my focus still persists in marketing with assistance of growth and stability.

My Plans For Next Week:

My largest plans for this upcoming week include hoping to categorize more of the bugs I noticed in my first playthrough of Rosette. I found the concept a fun idea but some things I’d like to document and hopefully worth through or around. Otherwise, my plans include to help create more mock UI work in Canva and to continue on with the account growth work.

My Choice Of Media:

My choice of media this week is Celeste, a game I am actually yet to finish but found much interest in the development aspect of it. It is one of the most prominent indie games and I used it heavily as a reference for a lot of my design works for personal projects and otherwise.
