Dev Log #22 – Nicole Harmon

This Week

I’ve been working in Honeybook this week. I set up a few projects and I’m moving on to some templates. I’m editing and adding to the services template for DVNC, showing the services they offer. I’ll also be doing a few pages of the proposal template, which will be used to propose projects to clients.

Aside from Honeybook work, I’ll also be working on stuff for the 90 day cycle of Rosett. Namely, we all have to make a Sales Presentation Pitch by Sunday. I also conducted an interview last week that went well. The person I interviewed was super nice and their answers to the questions will hopefully help us as we move forward with Rosett. I still have to add their answers to our questions to the interview Airtable, so I’ll also be doing this towards the end of this week.

Next Week

Based on the tasks that have been laid out for me, I’ll be continuing with some Honeybook things, like cleaning up some templates and whatnot next week. I’ll also be doing some stuff with SetVR, including a draft of how it will look. This includes things like the user journey summary and general gameplay.

Dimension 20 – Fantasy High

I’ve played Dungeons and Dragons for the majority of my life, considering my dad has been DMing campaigns for longer than I’ve been alive. We used to play 2nd edition and my dad would run campaigns for just my brother and I. I’ve since played other campaigns with friends on newer editions of the game, but despite how much I’ve played over the years I’ve never actually watched others play D&D.

I was recently introduced to Fantasy High, a campaign by Dimension 20 that follows a group of students at a new school for adventuring. I didn’t think I’d really enjoy watching others play D&D, but I’ve been really liking the series so far! Everyone involved is super funny and their characters are really well fleshed out. I’d recommend this series to anyone interested in D&D.
